Pumice

Pumice is a natural mineral having the form of volcanic porous structure.

Pumice because of its brittleness, is mainly used as an abrasive for delicate fabrics. Its hardness on the Mohs scale is approx. 6,5-6,0 and is therefore mild and ideal for processing glass, stone, etc. Can be used for less aggressive action where surface protection materials is very important.

The chemical composition of pumice in the form of SiO2 is amorphous silica (approx. 70-72%). It is a mineral insoluble in water. Its density of 2,3-2.4 g / cm3.

Package:
Pumice is packed in 25 kg bags.
